Our Pump Foilboard Bags are made from Waste2Wear fabric, making them one of the lightest, toughest and most eco-friendly board bags on the market. Waste2Wear are innovating the textile industry to use recycled plastics, transforming them into fabrics that Starboard use for all of our Pump Foilboard bags. For each meter of fabric, at least 10 bottles are recovered and used to make the recycled polyester material.

Made From Recycled Plastic Bottles

        

The ReCover bags feature a 450D RPET outer fabric layer made from recycled plastic bottles, in partnership with Waste2Wear.
The bottles are chopped into flakes, washed, melted, and extruded into yarns, which are then spun into fabric. Each bag uses between 30 to 150 bottles, giving them a second life and reducing environmental impact.
The Ripstop weaving technology enhances the fabric’s wear and tear resistance.
