Start 2 Wingsurf

        

As a wingboard learner, START2 has perfect balance when using the side fins that can be placed forward of the daggerboard. This brings the lateral pan forward, allowing you to stand in the same place when you wing as when you windsurf. The board tracks and tacks like no other wingboard learner, and you will wing with the utmost ease. If you are a wing teacher, you will love this board, and if you are new to the sport, you will accelerate your learning curve.         

      
        

Start 2 Windsurf

        

You tack quickly with the 22 cm Drake Shallow fin, which provides solid stability while moving the feet to the other side. Your gybes progress fast with the thinned-out tail and rounded front rails. The daggerboard sits further back than usual to make it easier to go upwind, avoiding getting backwinded. This makes even strong wind-upwind sailing great fun. The coloured oval in the middle of the standing area guides you towards your entry-level standing position. Side fins are not to be used for windsurfing.         

      

Retractable Daggerboard

The retractable daggerboard with a soft handle is easy to move backwards for planning and down for upwind. Thanks to the Clipperbox system, it always stays in the right place.

Drake Shallow Fin

The stiff and wide Drake Shallow 22cm fin delivers power directional traction and is perfect for shallow waters.

Carry Handle And Carry Straps

The built-in carry handle ensures practical board transportation under your arm. An additional strap is positioned at the tail if you wish to drag the board up from the water, and another is placed at the nose so two people can carry the board together over a longer distance.

AS TOUGH AS IT GETS

The Start2 windsurf boards are built in Rhino Tech to make them as durable as possible for schools and centres. The entire board is wrapped in a thick, tough thermoplastic polymer ABS skin (not to be confused with ASAP), with a double wrap around the rails, avoiding a rail band.
