The first stop of the Freestyle Pro Tour 2024 took place in warm Cape Town. The event consisted of 2 parts: a single elimination on the Rietvlei Lake on the flat water and a double elimination in the waves at the Paternoster. Our Dream Team rider Lennart Neubauer entered the 2024 battle for the European Title in the yellow jersey. Above all, his goal is to defend his maiden European Freestyle Title from 2023. After the single elimination and tough battles he finished in third place. The double elimination got a green light but unfortunately, the conditions didn’t develop as expected. Therefore, in the final where Lennart was supposed to face Jacopo Testa, the wind was not sufficient. Lennart claimed second place overall. Most importantly, Lennart had a great start to the season and we are excited to see what’s next! He was using the ultimate freestyle machine, the Starboard iGNiTE 93L.
